New Delhi – Delhi Police have arrested 31-year-old Salman alias Lucky, a fugitive wanted in connection with a murder case, from Sultanpuri in northwest Delhi. The arrest was made on Saturday, following a tip-off.

A resident of Nangloi, Salman was on the run after his involvement in a violent clash near a petrol pump in Jwalapuri, which occurred on May 15. The altercation, reportedly triggered by an old enmity, resulted in the death of one person and left three others injured.

The case had been registered at Paschim Vihar East police station, and Salman had remained at large since the incident.

During police interrogation, Salman confessed to his role in the crime. Authorities say the arrest could lead to further insights into the planning and other individuals possibly involved in the deadly confrontation.

Investigations are ongoing to determine whether others aided his evasion or participated in the attack.
