PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — A McCracken County couple was arrested Tuesday after a drug raid at their Cairo Road residence led to the seizure of methamphetamine, synthetic drugs, and paraphernalia, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation began in August following a complaint of drug activity at 3955 Cairo Road, Lot 5. A search warrant was executed on Tuesday, resulting in the arrests of Jesse J. Bowman, 47, and Denise M. Morella, 59.
Inside the residence, deputies found:
About 43 grams of crystal methamphetamine
Several bags of synthetic marijuana
Drug paraphernalia consistent with trafficking
Bowman, who is currently under federal supervision for prior convictions, faces an additional charge for failing to notify the Department of Transportation of an address change.
Both Bowman and Morella were booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
They are charged with:
First-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (over 2 grams of meth)
Trafficking in synthetic drugs
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
The investigation remains ongoing.
