Cristian Quintero-Rojas Arrested in Washoe County During ICE Operation

WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. — As part of a nationwide enforcement operation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on September 20 and 21, Cristian Quintero-Rojas, an unauthorized immigrant from Honduras, was arrested in Washoe County.

According to ICE, Quintero-Rojas has a prior conviction for burglary. The arrest was part of a broader sweep targeting individuals identified as sexual predators, human traffickers, robbers, gang members, and other serious offenders.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin emphasized the agency’s focus on apprehending “the worst of the worst” across the nation, noting that the arrests took place while many Americans were enjoying their weekends.

ICE continues to prioritize the removal of individuals who pose a threat to public safety.
