MONTICELLO, Ark. — Two Monticello residents, Cassidy Hill and Charetha Foster, both 24, were arrested on September 24, 2025, in connection with a violent abduction and assault case in Drew County.

The Drew County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the incident on September 17 after a woman reported being forcibly taken to a rural area against her will. Authorities say the victim was assaulted, robbed, and left stranded.

Hill and Foster were charged with aggravated assault, second-degree battery, kidnapping, and theft of property. Both appeared before Circuit Judge Robert Gibson III, who set bond at $50,000 each. They remain held at the Drew County Detention Facility pending bond.

Sheriff Tim Nichols stated the investigation is ongoing as authorities work to gather more details.
