Leo Hill Arrested in Aberdeen for Drug Possession and Paraphernalia

Suspected ecstasy, marijuana, and cash seized in raid

ABERDEEN, N.C. — Deputies arrested 39-year-old Leo Hill on Wednesday after executing a search warrant that uncovered suspected ecstasy, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and over $1,600 in cash.

The Moore County Sheriff’s Office reported that detectives served the warrant on September 24 at a residence in the 100 block of Guybo Street. Hill was taken into custody at the scene.

Hill faces multiple charges including felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for the use of controlled substances, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was booked into the Moore County Detention Center under a $35,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on October 1.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
