LEEDS, UK — Three people have been charged in connection with the supply of cocaine and cannabis following coordinated police raids in Halton Moor last Monday.
On 15 September, officers executed simultaneous warrants at two neighbouring properties on Rathmell Road, leading to the arrests of Kyle Hargreaves (19), Demi-Leigh Abbott (19), and Kasey Simpson (29).
Following the operation:
Kyle Hargreaves, of Rathmell Road, and Demi-Leigh Abbott, of Ecclesburn Road, were both charged with:
Possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (cocaine)
Possession with intent to supply a Class B drug (cannabis)
Being concerned in the supply of both Class A and B drugs between 1 February 2024 and 15 September 2025
Kasey Simpson, also of Rathmell Road, was charged with:
Possession of criminal property
Being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs during the same time period.
All three suspects were taken into custody and appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court on 17 September.
Hargreaves was remanded in custody, while Abbott and Simpson were released on conditional bail. All three are due to appear next at Leeds Crown Court on 15 October.
Authorities have also served closure notices on the two Rathmell Road properties where the raids took place.
