Lisha Ann Smith Pleads Guilty to Sexual Assault in Conway

Smith sentenced to 20 years for assaulting two victims

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Lisha Ann Smith, 36, of Conway, has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two victims, Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson confirmed.

Smith entered her guilty plea on Tuesday before Circuit Court Judge Michael G. Nettles. She received the maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for each sexual assault charge and is not eligible for parole.

After completing her prison term, Smith will be required to register as a sex offender. The case was prosecuted by George Henry Martin, III, assistant solicitor for the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
