NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Phillip Woodard, 38, has been arrested and charged in connection with an Aug. 10 shooting that left a 23-year-old injured at an apartment complex on Dellway Villa Road.
Surveillance footage captured Woodard, a convicted felon, wielding two pistols — one in each hand — and firing at the victim.
On Monday, Metro police tracked Woodard to a gas station on Dickerson Pike. A loaded handgun, marijuana, and crack cocaine were discovered in his vehicle during the arrest.
Woodard now faces charges including attempted homicide, reckless endangerment, and several gun and drug-related offenses. He is currently being held in jail on a $615,000 bond.
