Carmel Drug and Firearms Bust Leads to Multiple Arrests
In Carmel, Maine, law enforcement seized more than 85 grams of illegal drugs and firearms during a Friday afternoon raid at a West Court residence.
Casey Corbett, 37, was taken into custody for outstanding warrants and now faces additional charges, including aggravated drug trafficking and possession of a firearm as a prohibited person.
Also arrested was Misty Corbett, 37, who faces charges of obstructing government administration and refusing arrest. Authorities reported that while in custody, she attempted to swallow drugs, resulting in further charges.
Corey Corbett, 46, was also arrested due to a probation violation.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office stated that the investigation remains active as officials continue to gather evidence.
