A Woodstock man has been arrested following a month-long drug investigation that culminated in the seizure of significant amounts of cocaine. On August 7, investigators with the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office, working with the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug Task Force, began probing the suspected distribution of powder and crack cocaine in the area.
That investigation led authorities to a residence near the 200 block of Lakeview Drive in Woodstock. On the evening of September 10, around 8 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at the location. During the search, investigators discovered and seized approximately 34 grams of crack cocaine, 31 grams of powder cocaine, U.S. currency, and a digital scale used for measuring narcotics.
As a result, 46-year-old Travis Sentell Mosley was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule I/II controlled substance with intent to distribute and distribution of a Schedule I/II controlled substance. Mosley is currently being held without bond at the Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren (RSW) Regional Jail.
Authorities stated that the investigation is ongoing and that additional charges may be filed.
