Toronto, ON — The Toronto Police Service has arrested a man following an unprovoked assault on a youth in the Grandravine Drive and Keele Street area.
The incident occurred on the morning of Tuesday, September 10, 2025, around 8:30 a.m., when officers responded to a call for an assault. According to police, a man allegedly attacked a young person without provocation before fleeing the scene.
Thanks to efforts by officers from 31 Division, the suspect — identified as Sheldon Ferguson, 30, of Toronto — was quickly located and arrested.
Ferguson has been charged and was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre located at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in room 105.
Police have released an image of the accused and believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Toronto Police Service.
