Sarah Lattemore Arrested Near Lester for Meth Possession

Beresford woman caught speeding with methamphetamine

A 38-year-old Beresford woman, Sarah Nichole Lattemore, was arrested near Lester, South Dakota, on Sunday night, August 31, following a traffic stop for speeding. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred around 10:25 p.m. on Highway 9 southeast of Lester.

Lattemore was driving a 2013 Dodge Dart when officers pulled her over for speeding. During a consent search of the vehicle, deputies discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, leading to her arrest on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding.

Authorities continue to investigate, and Lattemore is expected to face legal proceedings related to the charges.
