
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Three individuals were arrested during a traffic stop on Sunday in Rutherford County after deputies found them in possession of methamphetamine and other narcotics. Deputies were initially searching for Keagan Dean Henson, 33, who was wanted on a misdemeanor probation violation. When they spotted a vehicle believed to be occupied by Henson, they initiated a traffic stop.
Henson was immediately identified and taken into custody. Deputies detected the odor of marijuana inside the vehicle and questioned the occupants. Two passengers admitted to having marijuana and other narcotics. During the search, authorities found multiple baggies and containers of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia including digital scales.
At the Rutherford County Detention Center, Jayln Madison Faith Blanton, 18, was found to have concealed additional meth on her person. Blanton faces charges including possession with intent to sell and distribute meth, possession of a controlled substance in jail, simple possession of schedule VI drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $10,000 secured bond.
Pamela Denise Perry, 42, was also charged with possession of meth, maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $5,000 unsecured bond.
Henson was issued a $3,000 secured bond on the probation violation charge.
