SPRING VALLEY, Ill. — A 43-year-old Princeton man, Brandon Bergstrom, has been arrested and charged with retail theft after an incident at the Cloud 9 Smoke Shop on St. Paul Street.
According to Spring Valley Police, the alleged theft occurred last Wednesday. Bergstrom was taken into custody early Wednesday morning on the retail theft charge.
In addition to the theft charge, Bergstrom is already facing a separate felony charge in Bureau County. He is scheduled to begin a jury trial later this month for unlawful possession of heroin, which is classified as a Class 4 felony under Illinois law.
