FOLSOM, Calif. — Charlene Clark, 32, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, mail theft, possession of stolen mail, presenting false identification to police, and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Clark, the driver, was already under Post Release Community Supervision for prior identity theft crimes out of San Joaquin County.

Her passenger, Matthew Ang, 36, was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, mail theft, and possession of stolen mail. Both were booked into the El Dorado County Jail following their arrests.

Folsom police stated they will be contacting victims connected to the recovered stolen mail as the investigation continues. The department emphasized its commitment to protecting the community from crimes that often cause lasting harm to residents.

“The Folsom Police Department remains committed to relentlessly pursuing criminal behavior and holding individuals accountable for their actions,” the agency said.

Authorities reminded residents to promptly collect mail, use secure mailboxes when possible, and report suspicious activity to help reduce mail theft opportunities.
