Stoneville, NC (BTW21) — A Stoneville woman, 39-year-old Lakisha Levette Webster, has been charged with multiple felony drug offenses following a significant narcotics investigation by the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.
On Monday, July 28, 2025, deputies from the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at Webster’s residence at 285 Belleville Drive.
During the search, law enforcement seized a trafficking amount of 35 grams of fentanyl, enough to potentially cause 17,500 fatal overdoses, according to DEA data. Additionally, deputies confiscated:
4 grams of cocaine
8 grams of methamphetamine
Prescription pills and Suboxone strips
Three firearms
U.S. currency
Webster was arrested on the spot and charged with:
Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Distribute Schedule I Controlled Substance
Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Distribute Cocaine
Felony Trafficking Opium or Heroin
Felony Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance
Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Misdemeanor Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substances
Following her arrest, Webster was brought before a magistrate and issued a $385,000 secured bond. She is currently held at the Rockingham County Detention Facility and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on August 19, 2025.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that the seizure of fentanyl and other drugs likely prevented a large number of potential overdoses in Rockingham County and nearby communities.
