WEST UNION, W.Va. — Zachary Morgan, 37, has been charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile in Doddridge County, according to local deputies.
On August 25, deputies were contacted by the juvenile who reported the assault. A forensic interview was conducted the following day at the Harrison County Child Advocacy Center with deputies present.
During the interview, the victim disclosed that at an event in July, Morgan made inappropriate comments privately before allegedly sexually assaulting them. The victim stated they said “no” but were too scared to resist and feared for their life.
The victim also revealed a second incident occurred at a different location during the same month.
Morgan now faces sexual assault charges and is currently held at North Central Regional Jail.
