BRANDON, FL — A fugitive’s run ended Tuesday when U.S. Marshals and Hillsborough County deputies arrested Kephat Milien, 23, at an apartment on Milano Circle in Brandon.
Milien was wanted on felony warrants, including failure to appear in court for child neglect and leaving the scene of a crash with injuries, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
During the arrest, deputies saw drugs in plain view. After securing the scene and obtaining a search warrant, HCSO’s gang unit uncovered:
47 grams of MDMA
1 pound of marijuana
Drug paraphernalia
$2,300 in cash
Milien now faces several new charges, including:
Trafficking in amphetamine
Possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell
Possession of cannabis with intent to sell
Unlawful use of a two-way communication device
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Using a residence for drug trafficking or sales
“This is another example of strong teamwork getting dangerous drugs and repeat offenders out of our neighborhoods,” HCSO said in a statement.
The investigation is ongoing.
