WAGMATCOOK, N.S. — The Nova Scotia RCMP has confirmed the arrest of Michael Francis Isadore, a 43-year-old man from Wagmatcook who was the subject of a provincewide warrant.
Isadore was wanted in connection with several serious criminal charges, including:
Sexual assault
Sexual interference
Administration of a noxious thing
Aggravated assault
Mischief
The RCMP first issued the warrant on July 10, asking for public assistance in locating Isadore.
On Wednesday, police announced that Isadore had been safely located and arrested, although they did not disclose any additional details about the arrest.
“The RCMP would like to thank the public for their support in locating and arresting Isadore,” the force said in an official news release.
No further information has been released as the investigation continues.
