CHILTON COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Chilton County Sheriff’s Office has arrested five individuals in connection with two separate shootings that occurred just days apart in July.

The first shooting took place on July 4, when multiple shots were fired into a home with a 12-year-old child inside. Just days later, on July 9, another home in the Isabella Community was targeted while the resident was away at work.

The suspects — Xzavia Stacy, Jeremiah Allen, Jamoryn McNeil, and Deavion Abercrombie — are facing a range of felony charges. These include attempted murder, shooting into occupied and unoccupied dwellings and vehicles, shooting from a roadway, and first-degree criminal mischief. Additionally, an unidentified juvenile has also been charged in the case.

“These arrests demonstrate our commitment to holding accountable those who endanger our community,” said Sheriff John Shearon. “We will continue to work diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.”

Authorities are urging anyone with more information about these incidents to contact the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office.
