King Harris, the son of famed rapper T.I. and singer Tiny Harris, was arrested earlier this week in Dunwoody, Georgia, after a warrant for his arrest surfaced. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, Harris, whose real name is Clifford “King” Harris, Jr., was taken into custody on Monday, October 16, following a traffic incident involving his BMW.
Police reports indicate that Harris nearly collided with a police cruiser while leaving a gas station. The arresting officer noted the smell of marijuana coming from his vehicle and spotted a gun on his hip. “Mr. Harris was cooperative,” the officer wrote, adding that Harris was detained without incident.
The warrant for Harris was issued in Pickens County for failing to appear in court in September. His missed arraignment was linked to charges from a 2022 arrest, including speeding, driving with a suspended license, and driving under the influence of drugs. T.I. previously commented on his son’s behavior, warning that his actions could lead him to prison.
Harris was transported to DeKalb County Jail and later transferred to Pickens County, although the bench warrant was eventually recalled.
