Fairview Man Charged in Girlfriend’s Death After Suspicious Injury
FAIRVIEW, VA — A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death of his live-in girlfriend in Grayson County.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Logan Andrew Walker was taken into custody following the death of 26-year-old Taylor Crouse, who was found unresponsive at her home on Fairview Road on the morning of July 24.
Crouse was treated by paramedics for a serious head injury and later flown to a hospital, where she died four days later on July 28.
Investigators launched an investigation into what was initially reported as a “suspicious death.” An autopsy conducted on July 29 ruled the death a homicide, prompting authorities to arrest Walker after searching the home.
Walker is currently being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail without bond.
