The Special Operations Group (SOG) arrested three relatives of government teacher Kundan Kumar Pandya on Thursday for allegedly using leaked question papers to clear the Rajasthan Sub-Inspector (SI) written exam. The accused include Pandya’s daughter Riddhi and his niece and nephew, Naitik and Neha Pandya.
According to ADG V.K. Singh, investigations revealed that Kundan Pandya passed the leaked question papers to them, enabling the trio to score high marks in the written exam. Riddhi scored 303 out of 500, Naitik 290, and Neha 313. Despite their strong written performance, all three failed the physical test, resulting in their disqualification.
Pandya was earlier arrested on June 5 alongside two others after it was uncovered that former Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) member Babulal Katara had obtained the three sets of SI exam question papers approximately 35 days prior to the exam. Katara passed the papers to his nephew Vijay Kumar Damor, who copied them by hand into a notebook. This notebook was subsequently passed to Pandya, who shared the leaked content with his relatives to secure their success.
ADG Singh noted that Pandya’s brother, Lokendra, father to two of the accused, will also be questioned as the investigation progresses.
