Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of finance company recovery agent Sumit Singh Yadav (35), who was shot dead on the night of July 13 in New Colony Nimdih, Chaibasa, West Singhbhum district, Jharkhand.
Following the murder, police formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) that identified five persons involved, using CCTV footage from the crime scene. After multiple raids, two accused—Abhijeet Adhikari (28) and Saurav Raj alias Victor (20)—were apprehended. Both have confessed to their roles in the crime.
Authorities also seized Abhijeet’s blood-stained shirt as evidence. Raids are ongoing to capture the remaining three suspects, who remain at large.
