BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) — A Birmingham man has been arrested following the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Corey Lavel Tremble on July 17.
Authorities took 57-year-old Julius Earl Johnson into custody on July 18 at a residence in the 2200 block of 47th Street Ensley.
After reviewing evidence, the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office issued a murder warrant along with a warrant for certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.
Johnson is currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail with no bond on the murder charge and a $15,000 bond for the firearm possession violation.
