ALSIP, Ill. — An Alsip man was arrested last week for allegedly posting nude photos of his ex-girlfriend on a Facebook account he created, in a case described as revenge porn.
Palos Heights police said the victim reported that nude photos of her were posted on April 2 to a Facebook account created in her name without her consent.
Investigators obtained multiple search warrants and identified 36-year-old Eric Munoz, the victim’s ex-boyfriend, as the creator of the fake account. On July 10, Munoz was questioned and reportedly admitted to posting the photos.
The Cook County State’s Attorney Felony Review team interviewed the victim and reviewed the evidence, approving felony charges for non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images against Munoz.
Munoz, 36, was processed and given a future court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
