Fayette County Residents Arrested After Drug Raid; Deputy Injured

RV drug bust in Dunkard Township leads to arrests and ongoing investigation

by Sophia Bennett

DUNKARD TOWNSHIP, PA — Two Fayette County residents were arrested Friday night following a joint investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and district attorney’s office into suspected drug activity involving an RV.

Neighbors had reported suspicious traffic to the RV, prompting the investigation. Gabrielle Lowry, 28, of Uledi, was wanted on multiple bench warrants and a probation violation. During her arrest, deputies discovered a table inside the RV with various drugs and paraphernalia.

As Lowry was being taken into custody, Michael Lee Miller, 25, of Uniontown, fled on foot. A deputy was injured in the pursuit. Miller was later apprehended by Cumberland Township police after trying to evade officers and providing a false identity. Detectives also learned Miller had outstanding warrants in Fayette and West Virginia for drug and burglary charges.

A search warrant uncovered pills, suspected crack cocaine, heroin/fentanyl in glassine bags, digital scales, packaging materials, and a stolen pistol.

Both Lowry and Miller remain in Greene County jail awaiting extradition. No charges have been filed yet as authorities await lab analysis of the seized evidence.

The injured deputy is receiving medical treatment. The investigation continues.
