Shane Cummings Arrested in Bath Meth Raid by Police

Two ounces of meth seized during no-knock warrant in Bath

BATH, N.Y. – A Bath man is facing felony drug charges following the execution of a no-knock search warrant by local police.

During the operation at a residence on Casey Lane, officers reportedly seized about two ounces of methamphetamine intended for illegal distribution in the Steuben County village. Investigators also recovered drug packaging materials, sales paraphernalia, other controlled substances, and additional “relevant” evidence, which authorities have not yet disclosed.

Shane Cummings, 31, was arrested at the scene and charged with:

Criminal possession of a controlled substance (felony)

Tampering with physical evidence (felony)

Two other individuals were detained during the investigation but were later released without charges.

Cummings was processed by Bath Police and taken to the Steuben County Jail, where he was subsequently released on appearance tickets pending a court date.
