Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Uyo Zonal Directorate, have arrested six suspected internet fraudsters in the Ekamba and Ekpri Nsukara areas of Nwaniba, Akwa Ibom State.
Four suspects were apprehended at Ekamba Nsukara, while two others were arrested at Ekpri Nsukara.
The intelligence-driven operation led to the seizure of eight mobile phones and two laptops believed to be linked to the fraudulent activities.
The suspects are expected to be charged to court soon as investigations continue.
