by Sophia Bennett

YULEE, Fla. — Four individuals were arrested in Nassau County on felony grand theft charges for allegedly stealing 24 Stanley cups from Ace Hardware and various high-end food items from Winn-Dixie, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. The suspects were identified as 46-year-old Stacey Sullivan, 51-year-old Kaneki Hickson, 23-year-old Montavia Sullivan, and 46-year-old Tracy Sullivan.

Ace Hardware employees reported that the suspects took the Stanley cups from shelves on Miner Road, concealing them in shirts and bags before leaving the store. A “Be On the Lookout” alert was issued, and an off-duty lieutenant spotted the suspects’ vehicle near Arrigo Boulevard and State Road 200. The car was eventually stopped in a Winn-Dixie parking lot, where deputies conducted a search.

The search uncovered the stolen Stanley cups along with various expensive food items from Winn-Dixie, including crab meat, lobster tail, bacon, steak, and champagne. Sheriff Bill Leeper commented on the arrest, noting, “It’s clear these criminals had expensive taste, targeting luxury food items and popular merchandise across multiple stores in our county. However, champagne and lobster are not on the menu at Hotel Nassau County Jail.”

Authorities revealed that the suspects had been targeting multiple Ace Hardware and Winn-Dixie stores around Nassau County. The stolen goods’ total value was estimated to be around $5,000.
