TINLEY PARK, Ill. – Amir Abedrabo, 26, was arrested Tuesday in Tinley Park on serious child pornography charges. Authorities say he faces counts of possession and dissemination of child pornography involving victims under the age of 13.
The arrest comes after a long-term investigation led by Tinley Park Police Department investigators who are part of the Cook County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Abedrabo is currently being held at the Tinley Park Police Department and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, July 3.
Police have not released further details at this time as the investigation continues.
