The Hyberabad Cyber Crime Police have registered a major crackdown on cybercrime, detecting 82 cases and arresting 161 cyber fraudsters across 11 States during January and February.
A special drive in Telangana alone led to the detection of 32 cases and the arrest of 51 fraudsters, reflecting the growing focus on tackling cyber fraud in the region.
Among the arrested, 82 individuals were linked to trading frauds, which remains a major cybercrime concern. Four habitual offenders from Surat were nabbed for their involvement in 11 cases, including part-time job and trading frauds. The accused are identified as Ajay Anand Bhai Italia (36), Jalpesh (34), Vishal Arivadbhai Thummar (30), and Hiren Kumar Pravinbhai Baravaliyaand (35).

1 each in business, social media crimes, others, vishing, and loan fraud
