ROBBINS, N.C. – A joint operation by the Moore County Probation and Parole and the Moore County Sheriff’s Department led to the arrest of a 57-year-old Robbins man, Terry Williams, on Thursday.
Following a search of a residence in the 200 block of Jim Road, authorities seized suspected methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia. Williams has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a statement issued to the Sandhills Sentinel.
This isn’t Williams’ first encounter with law enforcement; he was previously arrested in 2021 for possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, he faced nine counts of felony animal cruelty in the same year after dead cows were discovered in a pasture near Robbins.
Williams is currently being held at the Moore County Detention Center under a $6,500 bond. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
