
Middletown, Delaware (WPVI) — A Delaware man is facing serious charges after authorities uncovered a stash of cocaine in his car during a traffic stop.
On Wednesday, New Castle County detectives pulled over a Cadillac driving erratically on Route 1. The driver, identified as Alfonzo Johnson, was detained at the scene.
Upon searching the vehicle, officers found two kilograms of cocaine concealed inside, according to police reports.
Johnson has since been charged with multiple drug and traffic-related offenses, and the investigation is ongoing.
Authorities have not yet disclosed whether additional arrests or charges are expected in connection with the case.
