MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Alysha Zarzycki, 26, of Mount Arlington, was arrested on Tuesday, June 18, by the Denville Township Police Department following an investigation into an incident at the Goddard School of Denville involving an injured infant.

According to officials, the child’s parents reported that their 11-month-old was hurt while in the care of daycare staff. After a thorough investigation, authorities determined the injury resulted from neglectful actions by Zarzycki, an employee of the daycare.

Investigators concluded that her conduct directly caused the infant’s injury. As a result, Zarzycki was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She was arrested, processed, and transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility, where she remains in custody pending a court appearance.

The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released specific details about the nature of the injury but emphasize that the welfare and safety of children remain a top priority.
