TUPELO, MS — Eddie C. Upton, 38, was arrested on June 11 in connection with a credit card fraud case reported at the end of May, the Tupelo Police Department confirmed.
The investigation began after a victim reported losing their wallet on May 31, 2025, and later discovered their credit card had been used without permission at a local business.
Upton was charged with one count of credit card fraud. On June 12, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Upton held on a $5,000 bond. The case is set for further review by the Lee County Grand Jury.
