PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WJAR) — Pawtucket police arrested 10 people Thursday after executing a search warrant at 907 Main St. following a month-long investigation into cocaine and fentanyl trafficking.
Officers began investigating the residence after receiving complaints that it was being used as a drug “trap house.” Police observed multiple dealers and customers entering and exiting the home, engaging in illegal activities both inside and outside the property.
Officials also reported complaints of public urination, drinking, defecation, and open drug use in the area.
During the search, police seized a firearm, 10 grams of crack cocaine, digital scales, cutting agents, packaging materials, and used syringes.
The arrested individuals include 25-year-old Denia Maria Gonzalez, 45-year-old Melissa Wagel, 41-year-old Jennifer Perito, 39-year-old Karliff Bowman, 31-year-old Jason Gamboa, 26-year-old Mendes-Moreia, 54-year-old Alexandre Dafonseca, 34-year-old Michael Trombley, 42-year-old Jose Nombre, and 39-year-old Jason Pedro.
Gonzalez, Wagel, Perito, and Trombley face charges of possession of cocaine and maintaining a common nuisance. Pedro is charged with maintaining a common nuisance, while others face charges of visiting a common nuisance. Some also face additional charges, including carrying a firearm without a license or permit and possession of cocaine.
