MURRAY — A Murray resident has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies in connection with a vehicle title fraud investigation, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

Normanda J. Brian was taken into custody on Wednesday, June 4, on a warrant issued following an investigation by CCSO deputies. Authorities allege Brian fabricated 15 documents, each containing forged signatures that were improperly notarized, in an attempt to illegally transfer ownership and title of two vehicles.

She now faces 15 counts of second-degree forgery and two counts of identity theft.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing and further charges may be considered depending on the findings.
