Three individuals, including Kanishk Kevin, a former IIIT Delhi student, were arrested during three separate drug raids conducted by the Telangana State Task Force (STF) on May 31 across Hyderabad.
Kevin, who became addicted to drugs while studying in Delhi, left his course and moved to Hyderabad, enrolling in a hotel management program. Officials revealed that he had been sourcing LSD from Delhi and distributing it locally.
Kevin was apprehended in DD Nagar, Kacheguda, where authorities seized 113 LSD blots and 16 grams of OG Kush. In connection with the case, three others — M. Deepak Kumar, Mohammed Siraj, and Jethin — have also been booked.
In total, drugs worth approximately Rs4.36 lakh were confiscated during the multiple STF operations.
