RAMSEUR, N.C. – A Randolph County man is facing multiple charges related to the financial exploitation of a disabled or elderly individual, authorities announced Monday.
On June 2, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fraud complaint on Huntington Road in Ramseur. Following an investigation, deputies obtained warrants for Robert Lee Dzurenka, who now faces one felony count of exploitation of a disabled/elder adult and twelve misdemeanor counts of financial card fraud.
The magistrate determined there was probable cause to issue an arrest warrant. Dzurenka was arrested later that day, transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, and served with the warrant.
He is currently being held on a $15,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was scheduled for June 3, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Officials have not released further details about the victim or the fraudulent transactions due to the nature of the charges.
