Teen Charged in Double Homicide at Oklahoma Marijuana Facility
Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a marijuana grow operation in Oklahoma. Authorities believe the incident was a robbery gone wrong.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Garvin County deputies responded to the property on April 18, where they found two workers—56-year-old Bao Ming Ma and 42-year-old Alejandro Baltazar Hernandez—dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Investigators identified 18-year-old Whyitt Collins and a 16-year-old male, whose name has not been released due to his age, as suspects in the killings. The suspects allegedly stole several items during the attempted robbery.
Collins was arrested on May 23 and booked on a complaint of first-degree murder. The 16-year-old was also taken into custody. Both are being held by the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office as the investigation continues.
