Abiral Singh Cited for Drug Possession and Traffic Violations Near Sheldon

Waite Park man faces multiple charges after speeding stop on Highway 60

SHELDON, Iowa — Abiral Singh, 24, of Waite Park, Minnesota, was cited around 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, near Sheldon on several charges including first-offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, no valid driver’s license, registration violation, and failure to provide proof of insurance.

The Iowa State Patrol stopped Singh’s southbound 2017 Chevrolet Silverado on Highway 60 expressway near the Highway 18 intersection after clocking the vehicle traveling over 80 mph.

During the stop, officers found Singh in possession of a container suspected to hold marijuana, a box of suspected THC vape cartridges labeled accordingly, and a glass marijuana pipe.
