Ernul Woman Arrested in Bridgeton Area Traffic Stop, 29 Grams of Meth Seized

Craven County deputies say a K-9 unit led to the discovery of narcotics during routine patrol on Hwy. 17

BRIDGETON, N.C. — A traffic stop on Sunday, April 6, led to the arrest of an Ernul woman after Craven County deputies discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in her vehicle, authorities said.

Tiffany Sue Paxson was traveling southbound on Highway 17 in the Bridgeton area when she was pulled over by members of the Craven County Sheriff’s Office K9 Bureau and Criminal Patrol Bureau.

During the stop, K-9 Tia alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search of Paxson’s vehicle uncovered approximately 29 grams of methamphetamine, $407 in U.S. currency, and various items indicative of narcotics distribution, according to the sheriff’s office.
