An 18-year-old man from Leamington has been sentenced to 26 months in a Young Offenders’ Institution after admitting to nine drug-related offences spanning 18 months.
Adam Kaminski was first arrested in March 2023 on Clemens Street when officers discovered wraps of white powder concealed in his vape pen. Just two months later, in May 2023, he was stopped again on Clapham Terrace and found in possession of five wraps of suspected Class A drugs.
His most recent arrest occurred in May 2024 after police responded to reports of antisocial behavior and nitrous oxide misuse in Kennedy Square. Kaminski was found with ten bags of suspected cocaine, nitrous oxide nozzles, and a mobile phone. Officers also recovered nitrous oxide cannisters from the scene.
A digital analysis of Kaminski’s phone revealed incriminating evidence, including drug-related photos, videos, and voice notes. In one recording, he instructed someone to discard “a kilo of sniff.” Further investigations revealed he was operating the ADZ line, supplying both cocaine and crack cocaine in the area.
In November 2024, the Serious Organised Crime Team executed a warrant at a Sydenham address linked to Kaminski. They seized an iPhone, £753 in cash, a hidden second phone, and a quantity of Class A drugs.
Kaminski was charged with the following:
Three counts of possession with intent to supply Class A cocaine
Two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A crack cocaine
Two counts of possession of nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation
Being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine
Being concerned in the supply of cocaine
Having pleaded guilty to all charges during a prior court appearance, Kaminski was sentenced at Warwick Crown Court on 13 May 2025. In addition to the custodial sentence, he was ordered to pay a victim surcharge. The £753 in cash was forfeited, and all drug paraphernalia has been destroyed.
Detective Constable Gouled Dubad commented, “I hope Kaminski’s sentence acts as a deterrent to others and goes some way to reassuring the public we will thoroughly investigate all drugs activity so we can bring offenders to justice and continue to protect our communities.”
