SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) — A man from Hayward, WI, has been sentenced in Sawyer County Court after being convicted on felony drug charges stemming from two separate court cases.

Quill Running Buffalo Hawk, who was arrested in January 2022, faced charges after Sawyer County authorities discovered 31.8 grams of methamphetamine and 7.89 grams of heroin in his possession, according to a press release from the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office.

In addition to this case, Hawk was also sentenced in February 2024 for drug delivery charges linked to a Fentanyl overdose incident in Washburn County, Wisconsin, in connection to a case that involved a Fentanyl overdose in Spooner, WI.

Hawk’s legal troubles have led to significant prison sentences, marking another chapter in his ongoing criminal proceedings for drug-related offenses.
