DIXON, Illinois — A 43-year-old woman has been arrested on methamphetamine charges following a narcotics investigation in Lee County.
According to an official release, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on May 8 at a residence in the 100 block of Fall Road in rural Dixon. During the search, Jonna Surratt was taken into custody.
Surratt has been charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony under Illinois law.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not disclosed further details about the quantity of drugs or whether additional charges may follow.
