PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) — Two individuals were arrested Sunday night following a traffic stop on Point Mallard Parkway in Priceville, where a narcotics investigation uncovered drugs and a firearm.
Priceville Police initiated the stop just before midnight, and a subsequent search revealed a quantity of Ecstasy pills, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm inside the vehicle.
The suspects, identified as 38-year-old Nikita Latoya Mahone of Birmingham and 37-year-old Erica Raeshawn Harrell of Graysville, were taken into custody and transported to the Morgan County Jail.
Mahone faces multiple charges, including:
Trafficking Dangerous Drugs
Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm, due to a prior robbery conviction in Pelham
Her bond has been set at $377,000.
Harrell was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
