Huntsville Man Arrested in Priceville on Drug Possession and Stolen Firearm Charges

Nathanial Elijah Williams, 18, faces multiple charges after a vehicle stop uncovered a stolen handgun and marijuana

PRICEVILLE, Ala. — Nathanial Elijah Williams, an 18-year-old from Huntsville, was arrested Saturday evening after a vehicle stop on Highway 67 led to the discovery of a stolen handgun and marijuana.

At approximately 9 p.m., Priceville Police conducted the traffic stop and established probable cause to search the vehicle. During the search, officers recovered a stolen firearm and found marijuana in the vehicle.

Williams was taken into custody and booked into the Morgan County Jail. He faces charges of second-degree receiving stolen property and first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

A Morgan County Circuit Judge set Williams’ bond at $70,000.

Priceville Police Chief Jerry Holmes expressed relief at the recovery of the stolen gun, highlighting the importance of keeping illegal firearms off the streets.
