BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – A routine traffic stop in Warren County led to the arrest of a man on drug trafficking charges, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO).
Deputies stopped a gray Chrysler 300 on Monday during routine enforcement. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers noted a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside.
A search of the vehicle uncovered more than 2 pounds of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia, officials said.
The driver, 28-year-old Desmond Byard, was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana and other related offenses. He was booked into the Warren County Regional Jail.
