A 27-year-old woman from Auburn, Katlynn Stump, was arrested on Friday for drug trafficking after police discovered more than 240 grams of fentanyl in her vehicle, worth approximately $20,000 on the street.

The arrest followed a tip from a local citizen who reported suspicious activity in a business parking lot on Minot Avenue, near Fairview Elementary School. Police acted on the tip and stopped Stump’s vehicle.

Stump reportedly admitted to having drugs in her possession, and when police searched the car, they found the fentanyl along with other drug-related items.

She was arrested and charged with Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs, a Class A felony, and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs, a Class C felony. The investigation into her drug dealing is ongoing.
